Your artist statement is strong and would definitely appeal to people looking to hire or collaborate with you. I don’t have many suggestions, but for your character design page, it would be nice to see at least one character fully rendered in color, or just pushed a bit further if possible. Your drafts are already really clean though so don’t worry too much, it would just be cool to see a character taken to its fullest! Hi Abraham! Your home page definitely has elements that are working well, like including a quote that connects to you or your practice, along with photos. One thing I noticed is that the selfie is a bit hard to read since it is dark and a bit blurry, maybe swapping in a better quality photo if possible could help, especially for people looking to hire you. I really like the photo on your About page, however, I’m not sure if that is you or your art, but it is more visually striking than the one on your home page, so maybe consider switching those. Hi Lisa! Your website is super clean and you have a lot of strong graphic design pieces. One suggestion I have is, if possible, to move the black navigation bar with all of your topics to the top of the page instead of the bottom, just so it is easier to find right away. Hi Kathleen! Your website is great, I know you’ve talked about how much you’ve struggled with it, but your hard work definitely paid off. A suggestion I have would be to maybe add more to your About page if you want, just to help viewers form a stronger connection with you as the artist. Maybe you could talk about your inspiration or why you love to paint the sea and sea life. The way you’ve categorized your paintings makes the site very easy to navigate. One small issue I noticed is that when I click on a specific painting to get a closer look it brings me to a black screen with only the title of the painting.
